so how does gog and magog pertain to jehovah's witnesses?

the latter-day battle is described in ezekiel 38-39, and it doesn't mention jehovah's witnesses anywhere.

All I remember about "Gog and Magog" was a thick yellow book we studied at the weekly book study in the mid 70's. That has got to be the most terrifying book I've ever read... I believe the title was something like "A Thousand Years (... ? ...)". Anyways, I was around 10 or so and I remember having constant nightmares about getting swallowed up by the earth at Armageddon because I had participated in a few "birthday parties" at school. Because of this, I was constantly falling asleep in class after being awake nearly all night or waking up at 3AM after yet another Armageddon nightmare... what a f==ked up cult!

Anyway, that's my 2 cents about "Gog and Magog"...

Why do all the COs have food intolerances/allergies/special dietary requirments?

it's a well known phenomenon i've observed from jwn, my own cos. a new co we had once who was fresh from being a normal elder and after a couple of visits he said, "well i've finally become a true co...i now have food intolerances.".

i mean, only once did my husband and i ever have a co around for dinner and they couldn't eat this, he couldn't eat that, she couldn't eat this...it was so hard to cook something with none of the zillions of things they were 'allergic' to.. and then after all that the wife couldn't come anyway because she had a naturopath appointment or something.. why do all co's seem to have weird dietary problems?.

I knew several CO's who had food intolerances, living quarters intolerances and every other intolerance you can think of. I find that when they finally reach that coveted position of power they start to throw their weight around to make themselves feel better or compensate for their "male inadequacies".

I'm floored by this comment... only because my cousin went to bethel and also beat his wife right after getting out... but I really thought this was a rare and isolated case... apparently not... so what is it about bethel that turns some bethelites violent???

How successful we're quickly builds in your area

i remember hearing about quickly builds how this was a sign of jehovah's spirit that the kh could be built in 3 days.

but what i am wondering is just how successful we're these builds.

i can think of a couple of halls that were built by the quickly built methods that i would suspect they would of lost money on.

OSHA Regulations were totally ignored and violated.

The rook leaked after only 4 years and the sound system wiring had chronic issues from day 1.
